My name is Margareta Tripsa (I go by Margo Tripsa). I have been teaching for over a decade. Education has helped me embark on extraordinary journeys. Via Visiting International Faculty (VIF), a leading exchange program for teachers, I launched my career as an international educator. I have taught on 3 continents so far: Europe (Romania), North America (Charlotte, North Carolina), and Asia (Qatar). Currently, I work as the Instructional Technology Coach at an international school (American curriculum) in Qatar, Middle East. I have been enjoying the experience of teaching internationally tremendously!
I hold a MA degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) earned in the United States. Currently, I am enrolled in an Education Specialist program in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University, Georgia, U.S. Teaching is truly my passion. I really believe that students need to develop global awareness and possess a variety of skills in order to succeed in the 21st century. Therefore, teachers have the big responsibility to keep up with the quick societal shifts. I am very proud for being conferred the 2013 Global Educator Award. I knew teaching was my true calling the moment I started playing school as a child. I have a passion for outdoor activities, instructional technology; I love the sun, and the beach.
Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you’ll find here instructional resources that will truly enrich your instruction.
I also hope that my posts will always find you in great health and spirits!
